About Purchases

When you purchase our products directly from our website, we gather your:

  • Email address

  • Billing information

We collect this information to deliver the products you’ve purchased and to identify you for any future customer support interactions. We might need to verify your identity for:

  • Support requests

  • Receipt or invoice requests

  • Refunds

  • Requests to re-send your app’s serial number

  • Discount requests for upgrades

Your information isn't sold or disclosed to third parties, except to complete your transactions or provide necessary customer support. Our payment processor is Paddle. It's important to note that Paddle has its own privacy policy and by making a purchase, you're also agreeing to their terms.

We don't store your credit card information on our servers.

We keep your personal information unless you ask us to remove it. To have your information removed, contact us at support@bzgapps.com. Make sure to keep a copy of your purchased app serial numbers, as we won't be able to retrieve them after your info is removed.

When you reach out to us for support, we collect your email address and any other info you voluntarily provide, like crash logs or diagnostics. We use this info solely to resolve your support request.

We retain support emails to provide context for future interactions and to identify trends, which can help us improve our products.

Privacy in Unite and Coherence

Unite and Coherence are designed with your privacy in mind. Here's how they handle your information:

  • The apps you create with Unite and Coherence do not communicate with our servers. We don't have access to any personal data within these apps.

  • In both Unite and Coherence, we use license activation and update checks common in many Mac apps. These involve some data transmission, but all data is anonymized and not traceable.

  • The only third-party services we use in Unite are Paddle and Sparkle for license activation and updates, and Microsoft App Center for anonymized crash and usage analytics.

  • In the Setapp versions of both Unite and Coherence, there is a 30-day local countdown that requires you to run the creation tool once after this period. This process is also local and doesn't involve data transmission to us.

  • Coherence includes an extension that checks certain URLs locally. You can disable this at any time by going to Coherence -> Preferences.

  • Unite 4 uses CryptoSwift for its password manager, and we do not have access to any data stored within.

Site Analytics

We use various analytics tools, such as Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft Advertising, Plausible, and Google Analytics, to understand how you interact with our website. These tools help us capture and analyze behavior metrics, heatmaps, and session replay data. We use this information to improve our website and market our products more effectively.

  • The data collected pertains to website usage and helps us understand popular products/services and general online activity.

  • We also use this data for site optimization, as well as fraud and security purposes.

  • Site tracking is only enabled on our main website (bzgapps.com) and not on our other services at this time.
